Treatment of Frozen Shoulder (Repetitive Motion Injury Therapy):
November 13, 2005
My frozen shoulder was pretty severe. I think the acupuncture I received from a chiropractor probably was useful in alleviating some of the swelling … but Albino's therapy was key to my regaining the use of my shoulder.
I started improving immediately, but it has taken several months of therapy to regain the use of my shoulder without severe pain. It still isn't 100%, but we are still working on it. When I started therapy, I was doing one session per week, then twice a month and now it is about once a month.
What has also made a big difference in my recovery is this … In addition to the actual work Albino did on me, he gave me effective stretching exercises to use at home between treatments.
Getting my shoulder to function again was a painful process, but Albino is very patient and tried to minimize the pain for me as much as possible while still making progress with my shoulder.
I would highly recommend Albino Buscemi's therapy to anyone, especially to someone with a frozen shoulder.
Sincerely,
Susan Taylor
