Albino holds a degree in Foreign Languages as a Correspondent / Interpreter obtained from the Method Institute in Genoa, Italy. He trained as an athlete for many years in Italy and while in training, began to learn massage, seeing the great therapeutic benefits massage provided athletes.

During his intense training in Greco-Roman wrestling and as a avid skier, he employed many of these sports injury rehabilitation techniques. For over 30 years, he has used massage to help himself, fellow athletes, family and friends alike. After retiring from the restaurant business as a chef in 1998, he decided to take a new direction, to put his tactile talent to work in helping others, in order to help their muscles heal so that they could have whole body restoration and rejuvenation.

Albino has advanced training in Active Isolated Stretching, sports massage, deep tissue massage, Thai massage, Muscle Release Technique, Repetitive Use Injury Technique and numerous other modalities. From these studies and his practical experience in massage over the years, he has developed his own unique techniques, namely: Sports Injury Rehabilitation Therapy (SIRT) and Repetitive Motion Injury Therapy (RMIT)

For all his clients, he emphasizes the value of stretching and teaches home techniques. He brings to his clients years of study of the human body, a practical knowledge of sports therapy and a "sixth sense" of how to help people be free of pain! His clientele includes athletes, "weekend warriors," business people, housewives, doctors, lawyers and even an opera singer.

His keen sense of humor and gentle nature help make his clients feel comfortable; his knowledge of the body and his unique ability to provide muscle therapy help them be pain-free! His belief is that massage is not a luxury, it is a necessity … and that therapeutic massage is one of the keys to longevity and rejuvenation.

For all first visits,

First-time clients are asked to arrive at least 15 minutes early before the actual appointment … to fill out paperwork and for postural evaluation. Wear comfortable clothes for "Active Isolated Stretching" and Thai Massage.

For all first visits, clients are shown how to stretch, specifically for a particular muscle group in order to retrain those muscles and restore "muscle memory." These 15-minute home stretching techniques are included at no extra charge Learning to stretch the neck, shoulders and back, etc. takes only about 15 minutes. To reinforce these techniques, please check out the website for an "animated: demonstration of stretching at http://www.mtherapy.com/stretch.html.

For chronic conditions of long duration we encourage longer initial sessions of 1.5 or 2 hours. For large people (with a lot of territory), we always recommend 1.5 hours at least for each session.

For chronic cases, twice a week if at all possible is suggested, however, with at least once a week, you should still see excellent results. As with any therapy program, the more often you come in for therapy and the more you participate in home-stretching techniques, the faster you will witness progress and experience fantastic results.

Wishing you all the best for your continuing health and fitness program. All fitness programs should, in fact, include massage therapy to help free the body of accumulated lactic acid and congestion of tissue.

Thank you and we look forwarding to serving you in the near future.
